but...thats not the point after the game i was taking a buddy home, and he asked me about having sexy with his gurlfriend, and what i thought about it...(so i thought) and let alone the first thoughts that came into my head where that of Jesus Christ and what He would do.
So I did I opened up my faith and my believes to him, to hopefully I've made some kind of impression in his life to as where the holy spirit is opened in his life. Cause a any friend is worth saving.

God is good,

It's Me!!!

Hello everyone.....(Cara)
It's 5:47 on a Thursday afternoon on a pretty poopy day outside.
So, lets cut to the "main idea" of all of this. I, Stephen Bickel, am going to be challenging myself to a little 4 to 5 week "boot-camp" may have you, behind the drum kit. In this 4 to 5 week testing i will be isolating different area's of my set. First starting today with the High hats, Snare and Bass drum. The entire plan for my "program" is to strengthen my technique and create a more solid playing style in each area of the drums.
- On another note Drums are my passion and from playing for 5 years now, I really am putting my playing into the lords hands, guiding me where ever it may be from worship band on sunday to the stage in some alien city.

Day one: Today and for most of this week i am focusing on the art of the high hat. i believe that most drummers today do not fully understand the beauty of the high hat, so through the next week or so i am going to do my research and obtain the resources needed to develop my use of the high hats.
- I started off with a high hat lift on the down beats of one and two. I maintained a quarter note tempo with my right hand on the high hats(rather beginner), bass kicks ON the beat of 1, 2, AND 3. Throwing in a snare on the 4th beat.
- After playing this high hat lift exercise over and over and over till it was carved into my brain, i played the snare every beat, or on the even or odd beats. to mix it up and create my own feel for it outside the written material.
- I being a drummer from practically nothing and from not having attended even one lesson the idea of creativity and adding your voice is such a big part of how i play, call me out please if I'm wrong but adding my own flare is what I'm all about. Except for the way i Want to life my life, in The image of Jesus Christ.

Why So Eager?

Remember a time in your earlier years when some one answered you with "don't wish your life away", "enjoy your youth while you still have it" or "why do you wanna grow up so fast?"
And just think about each of these comments.... They are all saying the same thing, being young is nice, no responsibilities, no bills, no real issues. But from our shoes we can't see that we don't understand why someone would want to be young. Why we would want to be dependent, helpless, or innocent. Innocence that word is sooo sooo sooo sweet to my ears. That word has to be one of my most moving words in the english dictionary. It brings the most amount of sorrow and regret of all the other 200,000 plus words people speak every day.

1 corinthians 3:2-3 {I gave you milk to drink, not solid food, because you weren't ready for it. And you're still not ready! You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men?} It's in our childish ways, in our innocents and our dependency that we learn. We need to in-brace the idea of our God as we would our mother coming to receive a hug. As i do on a weekly, even daily basic, i think I'm ready to steer my life. But we must know that we're not ready for solid food, our body, our spiritual body isn't prepared for the independence of this worldly planet. It's not until we allow him to be our mason and build our foundation, and then with his over seeing hand walk us step by step, can we start eating solid foods.( the coolest part of my quiet time was that the lord really opened up my eyes, i've read over 1st corinthians like a bunch of times and i was now finally shown what the third chapter truly means, PRAISE THE LORD:D) Apon our foundation we use things and do things to create our home, build our name. But the most important thing is when our home, our name, everything we have has become shook. Through trials and hardships we can truly see what behave built and how we have built our home. We can see if it was based on biblical principals if it was of the world.
When you go to school this week, work, out with your friends, be for him, shine like candle we are.

BRUHHHHHHH!, we could just live in.....a little tent, and... build a fire.

Heello world:D
(did you enjoy that......?)
We'll its the 14th on march which makes it pie day. I didnt find this out till i read my WOMAN'S blog. this kinda saddened me cause she didn't wish me a good one:(....but it's ok cause i have something everyone of all you bloggers don't. Which is the her. ha. But you all have a pretty close idea of what she is cause she puts everything into these little blogs. So we'll just call it a draw.
- I've been learning a little bit of synth recently which is pretty cool cause it's outside of what I'm used to(drums)
- I've read four books this school real and I'm expecting another once i return to school tomorrow.
- Red is a very pretty color in my eye.
- After acquiring ke$ha's new cd/for my little lady friend/ i was very disappointed cause she's kinda not that enjoyable to my hears.(I honestly couldn't care).

But to the most important part. To day in church Pastor Matt talked about who God is to us. and how we introduce him, or WILL introduce him to those around us. He used an example of a warm welcoming grandfather and a drill sergeant just waiting for us to screw up. I think this ties in alot with our God view and how we interpret God and how we should see him. One of my buddy's from church had/still has a really screwed up God view of who he is. and last week we were addressing the issue in small groups at youth group, and it made me really sad to see that this is how he see's him and reacts to him because of his satan filled lie bubble in his little head.
So all i can say is get in the word, correct your own God view by researching and longing for his truth and driving yourself to the edge of your faith with the knowledge you have yet to read.

Ironic or just over seen?

Trust is earned not given, Conversations are rare and the time that are good are good cause words aren't spoken(these moments in themselves are fine), It's just the after fact after i see what hasn't been said or told to me. I guess It's ironic that I've become blind or just have over seen it. Yet again.

(I would say I'm speaking forhuman....... But I'm not)
